The Bride: Steph is the second oldest of four children. She has an older sister, Lindsey, who is 25 and is married to Mike Hadley, and a younger sister, Brittney, who is 14, and a wonderful mother and father, Rebecca and Joe. Steph was born in Atlanta Georgia on November 18th, 1985. Steph and her family moved to Littleton Colorado when she was 8 years old. Steph grew up as a tomboy playing softball, basketball, and swimming. She loved hanging out with the guys. When Steph got into middle school, she started taking dance classes and realized she really enjoyed it. She went on to make the High School Poms Squad as one of two freshman. Steph danced on her high school team for all 4 years and even served as captain her senior year.
On February 28th, 2003, during her junior year in high school, Steph's only brother was killed in a car accident at the age of 14. She was very close to him. He was an example and inspiration to everyone around him. She and her family then decided to volunteer with a company called Alive at 25, and travel around the state of Colorado sharing Brian's example and educating other high school students on the effects of wreckless driving.
After graduating high school Steph went to Colorado State University in Fort Collins for two years. She danced for the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders and was on the team for two seasons. Steph moved back home because of the commute from Fort Collins. She then attended the University of Colorado at Denver for one semester, then decided to move to Provo Utah. After living in Provo for 6 months, Steph decided to move to Orlando Florida and work at Disney World as Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty. A very hard decision to make considering she and Brandon were just beginning their relationship. But she went trusting things would work out.

This summer Steph is taking two classes, interning at Square Magazine, and working at Closet Technologies. Steph has two semesters left until she will graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Communications with an emphasis in Advertising.
Steph enjoys traveling, hanging out with her family, singing, ice cream, swimming, boating, camping, hiking, and anything that involves warm weather!
The Groom: Brandon comes from a family of ten. Two parents, one angelic girl and seven... boys. They will all now be listed. Read patiently. Robert, Janene, Erica, Bryant, Aaron, Cameron, Jared, Matt, Brandon and the "baby" of the family Chris. Growing up was survival of the fittest. But this survival served as fertile ground for the relationships they developed.
Brandon was born on August 15th, (an important day in his life for more than just presents) 1981 in Blackfoot Idaho. The Marcum clan had been living there for a few years and for just one more after Brandon was born. They then moved to Las Vegas where Brandon spent the first few years of growing up. No wonder he loves the warm weather. These seven years in The City of Lights were filled with opportunities for the family to grow together. Lucky for the kids they had parents who cultivated love and kindness for both each other and God. Of course it wasn't always kind between siblings but love was always abundant.
When Brandon was seven, Daddy Marcum got a teaching gig in Rexburg Idaho at what was then Ricks College in the religion department. A wonderful blessing considering Bob had been in the CES program for many years and seeing as Janene is from southern Idaho. Grace to be exact. Bob from a town just as well known in southeast Idaho by the name of Victor. So back to their Idaho roots they went.
Rexburg was a little boys dream come true. The older boys and Bob built a home with sweat and tears while Brandon mostly just played with the neighborhood kids. The family moved within Rexburg a couple of times all while the older ones moved away and started their own families. Until it was Brandon's turn to go.
He attended Ricks College for two semesters after graduating high school. Then was called on an LDS mission to Johannesburg, South Africa where he served the Lord and His children for two years. Besides meeting his sweetheart Stephanie, his mission was the most life changing experience he has had and will remain as one of the most fulfilling opportunities he will ever have.
After his service in SA, Brandon attended 3 1/2 more years at BYU Idaho where he worked towards his Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design. He's always felt art would be his career path and he feels he has been given a talent to bless others' lives.
In August 2007 Brandon knew his life was about to change. He knew that after meeting Stephanie and moving to Provo, that this was it for him. He'd found the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life and eternity with. All he had to do was convince her. Luckily she was easily swayed. They enjoy every minute they have together and if you ask me, I've never seen a more perfect match.
